ViHUB - Helping dealers retail new and pipeline vehicles

May 20, 2025

  • New cars and pipeline vehicles can be added into ViHUB to drive sales

  • Dealers empowered to retail new car stock in much the same way as used cars

  • Autofinity’s technology allows dealers to retail new stock to prospective customers online

Dealer groups can promote manufacturer new car stock and net additional new car customers by utilising ViHUB.

Effectively, by retailing new cars in manufacturer stock in the same way as group used cars, dealers can more readily match vehicles and buyers whilst ViHUB keeps track of a vehicle’s status and markets individual models for sale even without registration details.

Dealers simply upload the vehicles even if stock imagery needs to be used through the ViHUB platform in the same way they would a used car. In turn, the vehicle is automatically fed through to online marketing portals as well as dealer and manufacturer websites. The system will also track the whereabouts of a vehicle, for example, the location of the storage facility and the number of models available to be sold.

Our CEO Andy Whitehair: “The vehicles don’t even need to be in dealer group stock and because ViHUB is integrated with multiple systems, any updates made in the platform are automatically fed elsewhere. It thereby removes the risk of selling a vehicle which has already been registered by another dealership.”

“Uploading new cars which are in either dealer or manufacturer group stock and yet to be registered to the ViHUB platform allows them to be marketed to potential buyers in the same way as used vehicles. As well as reaching a wide online in-market audience, used car buyers may well change their minds and buy new.

“In a used car market where demand is currently outstripping supply, although good news for dealers since prices remain buoyant, serving up new cars to potential buyers as part of the online search mix could well boost a dealer group’s custom base and new registrations.”

Latest reports from the Vehicle and Remarketing Association (VRA) utilising Auto Trader data indicates that pre-registration vehicles for sale (based on stock with less than 100 miles) have increased by 23% year-on-year so far in 2025. Whilst still far below pre-pandemic levels, offering manufacturer new car stock for sale via dealer websites on integrated online markets could help reduce the need to pre-register vehicles.
